I don't think the n word is more offensive than any other racial words. Just because there are more people that are offended by the N word doesn't mean that it is worse than any other word that is a racial slur.  I would say that the N word is more offensive than some nicknames given to people from a certain area or background like Aussie for Australians.   But some Words that are derogatory towards Japanese people like the word Jap, is just as offensive as the N word. but as I'm typing this i realize that I Say "The N word" Not the actual word where as i said Jap and Aussie.  So i would say that the N word is more offensive than some words and Just as offensive as other words.  I also think that depending where you are from some words are more offensive than other words.  it all depends on your background and where you are from.  It also depends on your race and country of origin.  i would bet that People from africa think that the N word is more offensive than any other word in the whole wide wide world.
